How to Instantly Look More Natural On Camera!
In this video, I share with you a huge mistake I see so many people making when filming their videos! This one boo-boo can make you come across as shady, awkward and untrustworthy.
Why? Because you need to make eye contact with your viewers and speak directly to your audience – by looking directly into the lens of the camera!
Often it’s just a lack of understanding where the lens of your camera is located that keeps you from connecting authentically with your viewers. (I show you in this video)
The great news is that once I share this tip with you – it’s Super Easy to fix! You’ll immediately have better camera presence – and charisma of connection.
Good one, Sabrina! The other thing, of course, is that so many folks are “camera conscious” that they become kinda tongue-tied. Know where you’re looking, but ignore the camera — you’re not talking to a camera, you’re talking to people. Uhh … see what I mean?
Yes, it’s a balance of knowing the technical aspects and remembering that you’re a human talking to a human (THROUGH a device) 🙂
Thank you because I have to say, I could not figure it out because the lense is so little, and of course, I just look stupid like I don’t know who or where I’m speaking.
Mary, that made me laugh! Yes, when you start out, often it’s a matter of trial and error and figuring out what works for you. 🙂 Unless you can find someone that has already figured it out, and then learn from them. 🙂
Thank you Sabrina. I never knew that. Am appreciative of that tip. Blessings
Glad to help, Alexis!!
